Elddis Aspire 240

Good evening, we have a 2013 Elddis Aspire 240 and need to replace our two leisure batteries. One is in an external locker and one under one of the beds. Any recommendations please as I am a bit baffled by all the different ones available. We would like to be able to do a few nights without EHU. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

So many variables within the answers available depend upon what usage you think you will need.

Do you have solar ?
DO you have a B2B with lithium profile ?
Do you need an inverter for things like an air fryer
Do you have e bikes needing charging regularly ?
How many days ? (in one place of moving?)

An educated guess is that your 2 batteries arent lithium so can be replaced by one lithium battery but what size is now the question and that depends a lot upon answers to the above.

Did your 2 previous batteries do the job while you were off grid or havent you tried yet ? Were they lead acid/Gel and what capacity were they ?

Are the battery areas size restricted? If so have a look at somebody like TAYNA's website for batteries of those sizes. They also have a vast array of leisure batteries available. Promotion code NUMBER27YT will get you 5% off.

Lithium - give best storage, lightweight and deplete to almost dead.
Gel - cheaper but built for purpose.
Lead Carbon - interesting newer choice that on paper perform well as leisure battery.
AGM - some report not suitable for leisure use
Lead Acid - cheapest batteries but can only deplete 50%

We used to get 3 or 4 nights from about 150ah of lead batteries.
Now switched to 300ah Fogstar Lithium and one battery replaced three heavy beasts!
