Hymer
I have a 2020 Ayers Rock Hymer which has developed faults with most of the internal LED lights meaning I can't turn them off.Ive disconnected them as a temporary solution. Unfortunately the dealer I purchased the motorhome from(Roseisle)is no longer a Hymer dealer -apparently they had difficulty obtaining payment from Hymer for warranty work carried out!
The only remaining Hymer Franchised dealer in Scoland, knowepark, doesn't appear interested in helping. The motorhome is still under warranty!
Any suggestions /advice regarding helpful dealers..

Whilst your contract is with the suppling dealer whether he gets paid by Hymer is not your problem, he has a requirement to supply an item is fit for purpose You could try contacting Homer direct to see if they can help.

That only applies to the first year.

Hymer warranty is pan European warranty so you can take it to any Hymer dealer.
I suggest you contact Hymer they may give the dealer shove.

Have contacted Hymer direct in Germany.Their response was that I should contact supplying dealer-but I stated in my e-mail that they are no longer in business. The only Hymer dealer nearby will only carry out warranty work if you purchased from them. They state that they're only paid labour rate of £30 from Hymer for warranty work -which doesn't cover their overheads..!

Your dealer is where you go. It's not your problem if hymer doesn't pay them enough. They were happy to be hymer dealers when you bought it

Will return to them and post response!
Thanks for advice..

You could give your suppling dealer the option he repairs it and argues with Homer. Or you could get the other Homer dealer to repair it and take him to the small claims court or money claim online.

As a retired electrician, it sounds like a switch problem

What an absolute pickle. I'd expect better and I hope you can get this resolved without too much fuss. Best wishes (y)
