Aten do strip led’s any length 👍

If you want to keep fitting, remove all tube light control gear and stick led strip to base of unit.

If you use the old casing remove all the existing electrics first.
The original has a crude inverter to feed the 230v light tubes and the new LEDs are 12v.
The 12v supply wires will be all that's left after everything is removed.,, You can leave the old tube holders if they won't come out.
I wouldn't bother with the stick on strips,
I used what looked like a sticky strip but was part of an aluminium Chanel.
I stuck it with double sided tape.

The problem with domestic LEDs is some of them are very picky about the power feed. They expect a well regulated 12v. But motorhome electrics might spike to 15v. LEDs quickly flake out of they're over driven.

That tube you've linked to says it'll do up to 30v, so it should be fine. So it must be doing some good regulation.
