I recently bought a Lebara sim card in France.
I'm now in Germany travelling across Europe and trying to set it up to get data.

I just bought the following pack
View attachment 778505

11.99 for 40gb data etc. However the Internet doesn't work.

Is this pack only valid in France or do i need to manually alter settings on the phone for it to work?

Thanks

I’m sure lebara’s terms are country specific so i think you will have to ask the question in France . I asked the uk call centre about a dpanish sim and they couldn’t help

This from the Lebara France website might help?

Not sure if this is what sueandjohn were linking to? Apologies if I've duplicated.

Yes it is - there seems to be 2 threads but we’re all getting there 😊

tried using that as the APN. Also not working. Very frustrating. And the lebara chat support is pretty useless too.

In Germany they dont allow you to get a data sim unless you can prove you have a German residency address. The exception was a turkish guy in a mini mart that had a Lyca one but he tried charging me 10 euros on top of the card price so i gave him a miss

Have you tried
manually connecting to another network
Double checking that roaming is on for data as well as phone
Apn settings
Turning it off on on a few times
If none of that works, good luck.

Lebara has worked great for me in France, Belgium, Germany , italy and Spain.
That was probably a Lebara sim bought in the UK. I think the OP has bought something different. I know Nick has a Lebara sim bought and set up in the UK , probably like you.

are you sure it’s a data card? I could only find details here on their website for SMS and Appels (calls) unlimited in France?
if you do continue to use it, you need to renew it every 30 days. But I am thinking it’s France only.
if you want a few words translated, if Google gives you gobbledygook I might be able to help.

I will be needing help next year when i travel from France to Scotland, but thinking of taking my Starlink.

Its a sun bars, not a data card. But like all sim cards it should have the ability to add a data bundle.
IHave up in the end, wasted too much time dealing with it so will get one in Slovenia or Croatia that I'm expecting will work better.
Starlink is great for long term use too but there are restrictions on movement either physically or at least in their Terms and Conditions

I had similar issues in France, no internet but my router was showing a good 4g signal. (via a puck antenna)
It turned out it was incorrect VPN settings it must be uk.lebara.mobi

I had to put the sim in my mobile and call their customer helpline, and tbh they were very helpful.

As far as I am told, their sim works all over Europe, uk and a lot more

Had no issues since 😎

Yes i meant sim card haha.
Well i take it that was a lebara sim card bought in the uk?
I bought mine in France. Maybe its because i was already in Germany trying to set it up but that shouldn't really make an difference

I have a lebara 15gb sim as well as an EE one, from memory for the lebara sim I manually selected a network and then it worked in France. Also not sure if you can use your data/mins in Switzerland as I read this - it says Switzerland is in zone 3 and it appears there is a charge. I was just travelling though to get to Italy so used my EE sim.
