Anybody out there had experience of this sim?

Have you used the search tool?

There's plenty of us lebara, for example, here's the first result and they mention using lebara abroad

Using it now in my phone, seems to work okay although I had to manually set the APN, user and password which Lebara sent me. Was a bit slow to start with compared to the Plusnet sim (dual sim phone) but okay now. Also fine as a mobile hotspot.
I'm in southern Spain.

That’s what we use in our mifi whilst touring

Hubby has one in his mobile for data etc and another in his phablet, both work perfectly.

Nick has Lebara in his phone, works fine, sometimes you have to reset the VPN when you change countries which is a bit of a nuisance but that’s all. Quite a common problem, drove a friend mad last year when she was doing a Med cruise and was in a different country almost every day for a fortnight!

I was with Labara on a unlimited sim contract, with unlimited roaming, but this year EU roaming data was reduced to 30 gigs so have left them and gone to popit.

I used it in the autumn in Europe. Very good! Got one of their deals 1p a month for 12 GB. Got 6 Sims and rotated them which gave me 72gb for 6p each month. Setting them up for Europe is a bit of a pain as you have to manually set the APN up but they text you instructions on that. You have to activite them in the UK before you set off or they won't work over there.

I moved to Lebara a few months ago. Not tried for roaming yet but the coverage in the UK is way way better than my previous SIM on three

I have used this sim, however, now using the highly recommend Popit and it's excellent for UK, France and Spain IMHO

Thanks everyone for your response(s)

If anyone wants to setup a full MiFi in Moho then take a look at this article I had published in Practical Motorhome Magazine:

My lebara sim worked well all over Northern India a couple of weeks ago

We're in Spain (Tenerife and not in the moho) and bought a Movistar sim. 200Gb and unlimited everything else, 30 day timeout...€20.

Stuck it in our 4g router and it works faultlessly.

Seems like good value ✔

Yes. No problems. I use it in a spare phone to stream, navigate and search maps - and to have as a backup if the main phone falls into a toilet. No lower limit for use in EU.

The unlimited plan has a limit of 30 GB 🤷‍♂️

Thanks Bolti - I should have made clear that I was talking about my plan, not all plans are the same. I have 12GB/m (which is enough for me) but they don't reduce it when roaming in EU. I got the 1p/m for 6 months then £6.90/m deal and was happy with the coverage

The current deal is £1.49 if you want to switch. ( Have to do a roundabout with your number if you want to keep to though)

I have a Lebara sim which i got on a uswitch deal for £2.78 for 6 months and has 15gb of data all of which I can use in the EU - this is a rolling monthly contract so you can cancel at any time. I did also renew my sim only deal with EE for £18 a month for unlimited data last month on a 24 mths contract - I was previously on 100gb of data for £20 I think. I'm currently in Spain so activated the EE roaming pass for £10 a month and can use as much as I want. I've been streaming YouTube and terrestrial TV and that can easily eat up your data, maybe 20gb a day so potentially 600gb a month
