A few months, I'm a newbie!
Hi team!

We are leaving our 2005 swift Sundance for 4 weeks over December. We've got a pre existing damp problem that we are getting sorted in January so was planning to plug in the 230v power and a dehumidifier inside the van. Does this risk overloading the battery or is 4 weeks ok? Im pretty sure the leisure battery doesn't have one of those smart charging things, it's pretty bog standard (similar to the one in the attached photo which is one we got replaced recently)

My son’s van has been plugged in for 2 years - on my driveway. His batteries seem to be fine on the odd occasion that he goes anywhere.

The battery won't be affected as the dehumidifier will be running off the EHU not the battery.
