Hello!

The toilet bowl in our Laika doesn't hold water, it was working just fine but now it isn't. I have emailed Laika asking if they can provide me with a new seal - but was wondering if there's a special type of seal I will need, and if it's a big job
Many thanks

Is the cassette seating properley? if you can find the toilet model number there are plenty of suppliers of cassette seals on the web.

Post a picture of the cassette that will give us a idea of what one you need🤔

I’m sure it’ll be a thetford and easypeasy to change. Lots of videos on youtube as well.

Yippee 3rd Toilet Thread this week.

Most retailers sell the seals your toilet will be either a Thetford or Dometic.
Often poor seal is caused by a calcium build up on the seal, descale it and it may be OK.

If you go outside the van and open the toilet cassette access door there should be a white sticker with a barcode on it and some numbers this will tell you what model and variant you toilet is (assuming it is a Thetford). You should then be able to get the correct rubber door seal. Most motorhome/caravan dealers will have them on the shelf.

Why does it have to hold water? Don’t you open the flap before any business?
