Picked up a Roller Team T-line 590 last week, noticed that there are some drips of water in the cabinet directly under the sink waste, tried to replicate the problem and couldn't, so dried it up. Heated the water this morning and ran the tap on hot, same issue again, and also, I was unable to replicate it (might seal better when the fitting warms up?) unclear if it's coming from the waste/trap, this has the screwed on fitting on the bottom (which is tight, I checked) or from the water pipe (which is tight)
question is, is there an easy and reliable fix for this, or should I visit the dealer and have them do it ?

many Thanks

Paul

edit : just discovered that the water isn't coming out of the bottom of the trap where the cap screws on, it's coming from a point where the pipe fastens on, so could be leaking from the actual pipe connection being incorrectly fitted, or maybe the water is coming through the side of the actual waste itself, where the sort of spout in the side of the waste fitment projects out toward where the pipe will go on.... but I'm guessing it will be the pipe, is there an easy way to rectify this ?

thanks

the trap itself may have a crack where the pipe connects ..

I would remove the pipe and trap and inspect it .. if the trap is ok, then the pipe connection may just need tightening up..

if cracked, spare traps can be bought from Leisureshopdirect

Thank you, it’s going for a trip back to the dealer, they’re sorting a couple of other teething problems at the same time
