Leaking bathroom basin tap

Would anyone know how we would remove the plastic cartridge from this tap. We’re a couple of ladies trying to diagnose the leak

Unscrew the chrome bit on the top to get to the brass nut you can see underneath.

Theette brass nut has two flat parts that special spanner fits over, however improvise tools are part of the fun. The nut should not be too tight, releasing the cassette which may need changing or just the seal. Easy to source from caravan parts outlet or even household plumbers.

Got it used improvised tool to remove brass screw. Cartridge now removed, seal looks fine, replacing the cartridge, will purchase tomorrow, put back together Tuesday and . Thanks everyone will let you know result.
