Leaf springs and water ingress

t had Elddis Evolution 175 on a 19 plate Peugeot Boxer with 16000miles on the clock and it failed with both leaf springs fractured across the middle even with 3 metal leafs and water ingress in the locker behind the drivers seat which is extensive .Are both these common problems and any ideas on relacement leaf springs ?

Failed what? An MOt ? I would assume for the leaf springs.
What has the water to do with it? is that for a hab test?

Leaf springs not normally a problem but Elddis are well known for water ingress problems.

On what chassis, don't ducato's normally only have single leaf springs rather than multipack springs?
