So, having been forced into taking some time off work and, health being well. We are heading off to Europe at the End of August.

I had Considered towing our Caravan. Until I saw the tunnel and ferry prices. That and preferring not to tow for 2,500 + Miles

Currently looking at £260 ish for the tunnel one way. I have £60 Tesco Voucher
The Bilbao Ferry I booked return in October 2002, so I can amend that to one way.

First stop will be Dusseldorf for Caravan Salon, 2 nights. Then on through Germany into Switzerland, Doussard and probably on to our house in Javea, Spain for a few weeks.

Any suggestions welcome please? !

Had a look myself today and outward was about same price as yours but coming back end of September was about £145 so obviously out of peak.

As you're going to Holland, how about Harwich ferry?

Or even Hull-Rotterdam (setting P&O's morals aside...). We did it in May.
Left work in Huddersfield 4pm Thursday, 9am Friday were on a Dutch motorway after a good sleep and solid breakfast. Zero hassle.
Cost was little more than trailing down to Harwich, and better than all the way to Dover and up the other side, though we booked early.

See my post above re-price.

Yes, always been big fans of P&O North Sea and we used the zeebrugge route often .

I am going to book hull-Rotterdam for next years ski trip when the send me the discount codes in December .

£476 is just too much for me for this trip.

Have you looked at Newhaven to Dieppe?
Thank you !

Yes, I check that a lot. The route is still expensive as we are still in high season, August.

That and it does not suite our route this time around.

I got fed up with LeShuttle and Booked Stena Line to holland.

Shame as I had already turned my vouchers into LeShuttle !
Annoyed my self by not checking CAMC website £127.80 base price, I paid £163 on Stena to use Tesco deals
