I've just been to our local town and noticed a new laundry has been installed. It appears a great idea to me as the town gets quite a few motorhomes visiting.

Seaham Durham coast.

We've got the car park launderette in our local Morrisons at Queenborough, Isle of Sheppey. Been there for a few years now.

We tend to use these sorts of laundrettes when we're away in France.
Watch out though as the last time we went to use it someone had washed a horse blanket and it was full of hairs

It will be an even better idea when the barricades have been removed.

They could have put a start date on it - because grandad's longs are getting very grey, near black.

We often use these type of facilities when we are abroad.

They have just installed one of these outside the newly upgraded Nisa in our village, to be honest I thought they might have been installing electric car charge points as we don’t have any.

We aren’t really a Motorhome friendly spot , we do have a lot of boats as we are on the Thames but it’s quite a walk to get to the Nisa. It has led to quite a discussion on the local fb group , mainly around how handy they will be for washing horse and dog blankets

We loved these facilities when we travelled in the motorhome.
The fact that some people used to wash dog beds in them prompted us to get our new motorhome with a washing machine fitted in.

We had to report that someone had used the Queenborough machine for horse blankets. It was completely unusable for normal laundry. It now has a notice up saying it's not to be used for pet blankets! No idea whether that's stopped things as not used it since!

We have 2 here in Cannock, Staffs that i know of.
One is at the truck stop on the A5 just off jn 12 of the M6.. The other is at the Morrisons..
They do seem to be popping up.

We just stalk Gareth and Phil, get washing done, ironed and fed at the same time:LOL:(y)

The last one we used in Spain had a dog washing sink big enough for an Alsatian and separate washing machine and dryer for pet blankets.

Same here. The laundrette we use here in Denia has a large washing machine dedicated for pet blankets etc. It’s at a petrol station, with LPG and Adblue, and a large facility for washing motorhomes. It’s also next door to a supermarket. Ideal.
