Laundry

Been a while since we were in Germany, and we were boating then. We rather expected to find laundry facilities at motorhome convenient locations - supermarkets etc, as we are used to in Portugal, Spain and France.

Not seen a one, so far. Are there any ?

If you use "laundromat" or "waschsalon" as a search in Google Maps it brings up a few in various areas of Germany.

We ended up seeking out larger campsites every 7-10 days for a down day. Clean the van, resupply at a supermarket, wash the brogs and lower the tone by hanging the smalls off a line strung through the awning.

Loads, not a problem but mainly in the larger towns

I could nip to Decathlon for a couple of shirts then we reckon we might make it back to France in a fortnight. Bedding may be a bit whiffy by then ...
