Checking out my 2019 Fiat Ducato base for a B2B install and came acoss this.
A dual coil latching relay making/breaking the main -ve terminal link to chassis gound. Never come across this before. Can someone tell me why it's there and when does it break the link please?

It's used to isolate the battery if you want, for whatever reason, such as if it's laid up in storage. I'm not sure of exactly how to activate the relay, but I believe it's something to do with the ignition key, perhaps a small button to allow it to be turned to an extra position.

Brilliant. With your pointer, I found the little gate on the ingition switch.
Thank you!
