Last minute mods to ebl before travelling.

Asked previously about something related to this unit but now need to sort something rapid as going away next week. On fuse 5, 20amp "trittstufe" I believe this is supply for electric step which we dont have. Can I piggyback of this terminal 7 and 1 to supply a small inverter via on/off as need to charge a laptop and have no 12v sockets only usbs from leisure batteries. Hoping cables in plug in block have numbers.

I have done this sort of thing by inserting connector pins in unused positions to take my new wires. Applejack Electronics can supply connectors and pins. If there already wires in the positions you want to make connections, albeit for things not fitted like your step, then you can splice in connections to the existing wires, possibly adjusting the fuse value to suit your application.

My EBL31 has pins 1 and 3 marked on the panel for most of the connectors which will give a guide, and further rows normally read left to right, but you can cross reference against other wiring in some cases.

I wouldn’t run more than 15A through an EBL. Why don’t you wire the inverter to the leisure battery?

Good question have asked for this to be installed properly by off grid power solutions in the new year with larger inverter and LB. Just decided last night to get away asap.
