Done my van with Lanoguard when it was a few weeks old, before to much muck and cr@p got flicked up underneath, so not to much prep required.
Put old clothes on and a huddie, and then take off and throw away once the job is completed.
In a strange sort of way, I quite enjoyed doing it, and now feel a lot better when we park close to the sea, which is quite a lot, as at least it has some sort of protection on it now👍
Oh, and also made a mental note for 12 months time to apply another coat👍

Did the underneath of mine with Waxoyl a couple of years ago after wire brushing the chassis, the van never turned a wheel last year due to one thing and another.
Just sorting out a sticky handbrake for the mot and was a bit disappointed to find that the Waxoyl had done bugger all except make a sticky black mess of everything and was just flaking off, attached to bits of surface rust.
Think I'm gonna have to get underneath it and pressure wash it all off and have a rethink about the protection.
Have you guys had better long term results with the Lanoguard ?

First make sure any weld repairs, including areas that are already badly rusted are sorted out before appplying any flammmable sealant. Otherwise future weld repairs can lead to unwanted excitment.
