I have been searching for a European dealer of Broken Link Removed for my LWB Sprinter conversion.

I can find small lengths on eBay and Amazon but I'm looking to run full-length strips from rear to cab on floor, walls and ceiling. Reimo sell 200cm lengths but I suspect that length is restricted due to shipping.

I'm building in Valencia, Spain so a local dealer would be great, but I'm willing to travel.

Preference is undrilled and recessed so it can accommodate the interior plywood.

Anyone with experience of this stuff?

Hi,
I've not heard it called "L-TRACK" before ... but it visually appears to be an identical or almost identical product to what is commonly referred to as "UNWIN" tracking in the UK, which is almost universally used in most UK buses / taxis / ambulances / disability vehicles / etc / etc.

Perhaps you might have more choice of range & price searching for UNWIN tracking and accessories, and the tracking is available in both surface-mount and recessed-mount versions.

Cheers
Bob

Many thanks Bob

UNWIN is a better search term.

Have a look on Broken Link Removed
Someone converting an ex- autobus would be ideal as they usually strip out & sell off all the seating so if you see any seats for sale it is always worth asking.

Good tip. Cheers Gus

I've been there man! Run full lengths of these tracks on ceiling, floor, and sides. I was looking for suppliers in Hungary and it was difficult to find one, it's not that common here. I spent days on browsing the web, hopefully, I'll be saving you some time.

It has many names... L-Track, Cargo Track, Airline Track, Airline Rail etc...

"Unwin" is the right term in the UK that is correct, however, that is only the brand name. Koller, Q-Straint and NCI do sell them.

Though, I did order it from Germany as it is less expensive there and they do deliver longer pieces. It all depends on the delivery price. The German term for it is "airlineschiene", look at it on Google and brings up many websites. Try translating it to Spanish but each language has a specific term for it.

Many of the websites do not have English language but just enable automatic translation in your browser and pretty much your are good to go. I ordered tracks and accessories from Kurierbedarf website, they were pretty fast.

Thanks, Roland
That's great info...

I ended up purchasing full-length, undrilled, low profile, Unwin rail from Lee at: https://www.vantracksystems.com

I found Lee on eBay, he's based in the UK, and tried for days to find a UK courier that would ship 9 lengths at 3.68 meters long.

In the end, I had Lee ship to RawHide Removals in Enfield who are able to transport items 4 meters in length to Spain.

Full length, undrilled, would allow me to bolt the rail to mate RivNuts at strategic locations like the van ribs of the roof.

I've yet to take receipt of the rails but I've used RawHide before who charge 20% of the total value of the product to bring it over.

Great to hear that you managed to solve it! Yeah, not many companies ship in that length, especially overseas... Let me know how you get on with the rails. Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.
