Hi. I need to add some L Track to the motorhome back wall in the garage. Current plan is to use Silkaflex 522 with no drilling into the back wall. I'm wondering if I can glue the track directly to the wall or if I should fix plywood first, add captive t-nuts or threaded inserts, and then bolt into that. Maybe that second option is overkill? Thoughts?

Can't help I'm afraid, but I'm sure I read a few threads where ply was sika'd to the back wall and then rails, hooks etc. fixed to it.

By the back wall, do you mean the inside of the outer skin? Personally I wouldn't rely on anything attached there without some form of strengthening. Although it will add weight, and thus reduce your payload, I'd be going for your plywood idea.
