We are looking to visit Krakow travelling from Calais and will have around three weeks. Any recommendations with regards a route, stop offs on the way and campsites in or around Krakow suitable to allow travelling into the city itself.
Many thanks

We visited a few years ago, we stayed at a dealers about 6 miles from centre and cycle path all the way in bar the first 500 yards.

If you do stay here try the restaurant next to it, they speak little English and no menu in English but the food was amazing, we had a mixed grill for two.

We traveled from Amsterdam to Berlin, I can’t remember the road number we took but it has to be the worse I’ve ever driven on. After that the roads were great, I think you’re better going in from Dresden. We stayed at Warclaw and Katowice and enjoyed both cities, can’t remember the names of the sites but the were on search for sites, if you can’t find them let me know and I’ll have a look.

While in Karkow we visited the salt mines before arriving at dealers and Auchwitz when leaving, when we visited you could stay the night in one of the car parks, it’s certainly worth a visit.

Thanks for you reply, there appears to be a choice of sites.
