Since I have had my power disconnected, I have got no screen option on my knaus control panel for central heating Alde central heating and water temperature settings . Can anyone help . Cheers
Hi welcome, I assume by power disconnected you mean no ehu,
The control panel is powered by your leisure battery, is it flat, isolated by a switch or perhaps a fuse blown.
Is it only those items that are not working, or is it other things not working as well? Does it give any information about the voltage of the leisure battery - maybe a voltage display or some coloured LEDs?
All other pages and options on my knaus control panel are working, water level. Battery temperature internal external temperatures are all working. I just don’t have the screen with the option to power my heating system and water. The Aldi system is all working perfect on the Aldi control panel. The only thing I am missing is the Aldi control page on my knaus screey. All batteries fully charged. Thank you
I possibly have a very similar set up to you. I ignore the Knaus panel, except for water levels, and operate heating and hot water from the Alde panel. Have you tried a reset on the Alde system? Also worth carefully removing the Knaus panel and disconnecting the 12v power for 10 seconds, then re-connect. There is also a battery in the Knaus panel. No idea what it does but I replace every 2 years.
I have tracked down an instruction manual for the Knaus panel due to the odd past drama. Hopefully it will be the same as mine. Search for:
Toptron Technische Produkte für die Freizeit TNR:TT6089
Instructions for use
Control panel TCP MC1 with charging
Hope that helps. Anything else please get back to me.
Thank you for your help I can still control my heating on the alde system I just wanted to know why I had the function on my knaus and now don’t . Il try disconnect the knaus panel later and replace the battery . Cheers
Once the panel screws are removed carefully ease the panel out. The 12v plug is on the right top side of the circuit board if I remember correctly. A couple of times my Knaus panel has gone blank and removing and replacing 12v power has rejuvenated it.
