Hi, the photo is of our kitchen area tap, but it is also common to the bathroom basin.
Over the last few months the flow through the kitchen tap has got worse and worse, now being just a dribble.
The fault is not with the cartridge, I have replaced that.
It's not the micro switch, that's kicking the pump in fine.
It's not the pump, that's a newish one, but was swapped with my spare to rue that out, no different.
It doesn't leak, nor does the pipework.
The pressure from the submersible pump is good, giving a good shower outlet pressure, and all the pipe runs can be felt to have pressure in them.
I have cleaned all the pipe runs through with citric acid.
When I had the cartridge out I blew through the hot and cold tail connection inlets and they were all clear, blowing and sucking.
The flow is exactly the same through both hot and cold settings.
This leads me suspect it's a blockage in the spout/ faucet area. In the photo at the base of the spout near the tap body can be seen a joint line. The spout will move a fraction out, and twist a fraction clockwise/anti clockwise. There is no fixing or grub screw to release the spout, I've looked intensively. Does any know if it just pulls apart?
Now the same style tap in the bathroom has also started to give less water.
The shower, and toilet flush all on the same pipe run are unaffected giving a good powerful flow.
I have cleaned the screen in the solenoid for the toilet flush.
I've included a shot of the underside of the worktop, and no screen or filters are present there.
My next plan is to remove the cartridge again and try to insert some flexi hose into the end of the tails, then operate the pump to check the flow rate pre the cartridge and tap.
I found some one else had the exact type of fault, but annoyingly didn't report how, or if it was cured.
Any ideas that I haven't ruled out already?

Can you remove the outlet spout? Just the round bit pointing down towards basin sink. Most have a particle filter in them.

From appearance with no visible joint line it seems to be moulded into the spout, but I'll wrap some tape round it and gently give it a twist, fingers crossed.
Thanks Andy.

So, putting on my brave boy underpants I wrapped the filter/faucet housing with some self annealing rubber tape, applied the trusty mole grips and, voilà we now have a fire hose in the kitchen. The obstruction was an almost impervious layer across the screen of, fibre strand, plastic chrome flake, and a gel like substance leaving almost no way for the water to get past.
Feeling much bolder now I moved onto the second tap, and though not as bad, it to was well on it's way to being obstructed.
Many thanks to those contributors to this thread, and the helpful suggestions posted.
Now what can I fret about for the rest of day :worried:
I'll add photos later, the phones having an off day at the moment

Thanks, all done now except the shower. It's actually working fine but whilst the tools were out I thought I'd have quick look.
Is there a screen on the shower tap that you know about?
I found a very rusty grub screw of indeterminate head type under the spigot where the hose attaches to the tap body, but no obvious screen location?
New tap for the kitchen would have been £130+ VAT and 6 week wait.
