Keswick Restaurant

Hi All,

I am planning on visiting Keswick later this month to celebrate a birthday with a few friends. I am looking at booking a restaurant so we could all get together. Could anyone recommend a nice restaurant that could accommodate around 10 people?

Italians / Chinese / Indian? anyone had any reports on these?

Must admit we've been to Keswick a good few times over the last year or so and love the mexican https://www.esbarltd.co.uk/ but don't think it's big enough for 10 to be fair. We are only a couple.

Casa Bella italian restaurant best place very popular, and the Bank Tavern for the best beer.

It's reasonable but we always go to the Craft Beer micro in Packhorse Court to be honest.

It certainly is, even for the 2 of us there was no room one of the 2 nights we wanted to go in just before Christmas.

I enjoyed BarEs in Ambleside, so hopefully the one in Keswick will be ok too ?
I need to catch up with a pal of mine who recommended a spot not too far from the theatre, but I can't remember the name at the moment

8 of us had an excellent meal there mid December .
Also ate at the Royal Oak which was very good and much nicer inside than it looks from the street.
