Hi I recently purchased an air awning on our first outing we went to put the awning up but there’s 2 different sizes on the Keder piping. We tried to thread the larger type which was a little tight so sprayed silicon spray in the channel but still a little tight so tried the smaller piping which went through easy but on inflation the piping started to slip out the awning rail. So decided to persevere with the bigger piping. We eventually pulled it through. We’re due back home in a few days but dreading trying to get the piping out. Any ideas which piping should be used ? Thanks.

Depends which awning you have on the van, as far as I know a Fiamma groove is 4mm and all the others 6mm.

It’s a Fiamma F45

I tried the smaller bead but it was rather looser and popped at at one point. That’s why I decided to put the bigger bead in. So now dreading Saturday when trying to pack away 😩

Well I was stunned piping came out rather easier than I anticipated. Now the question is why doesn’t the awning rail retract all the way back in the holder
?
