Hi. Just a quick question.

I've been offered a deal on a Kampa ARP 260, I'm not sure how old but its only had minimal use. Its from a caravan owner and id just like to find out if this will fit my motorhome as its not possible to go and see it. The height size is right, it just whether the fitting will work with the awning rail channel.
Cheers
Simon

Does your van have a wind out canopy?
Or does your van have an awning rail which starts very low down on the van side and runs up, over and across, just like caravans do?

The Rally air pro usually only has one size Kador bead whereas the the Motor Rally Air Pro has two different sizes stitched in side by side, but as already mentioned you can buy adapters to change to the size that suits your canopy rail.

Iirc the rally air pro is also very slightly smaller in height, than the Motor Rally air pro L, again if you’ve measured your rail height (front and rear) and allowed a bit for levelling ramps you should be fine, as there is 3-4“‘ of skirt at the bottom edge.

I believe, again iirc they changed the roof to have skylights in around 2016-2017 and then the roof shape changed around 2018-2019 to have a slightly angled roof rather than curved.

oh….and the Rally Air Pro usually sells on the used market for substantially less than the Motor Rally Air Pro for some inexplicable reason?

Now owned by Dometic, Kampa have changed the name and sizing conventions for the new models to make it simpler, and it is now a universal model for caravans and motorhomes 🤔

I’m sure it will be fine…..you may need to position the central roof rafter slightly to one side of your door, if you don’t have enough clearance above the door up to the rail.

Kampa also sell sponge spacers to position at the end of the roof rafters where it meets the van, again depending how far your rail is off the van.

oh and limpets are quite useful too, if not slightly fragile, to seal the vertical edge where the awning meets the van.

D.ten We have one we use when in Spain over winter it fits fine, I just pop riveted an awning channel to the underside of the wind out awning. A0413F5B-A319-4D8F-8E12-95EE414B77A3.jpeg
