Just filled my new lpg tank

Filled up in a town in Portugal and was given a cafe' solo and some sweets plus a treat for the dog. Seemed strange to stand in the garage drinking a coffee whilst others queued to fill up, but there was no space to move out of the way.

So what colour was their emergency button? I think there has to be one.
No. Not really if you think about it

I agree that we are used to seeing a red button as an emergency stop

The LPG pump is different through as it effectively has a dead mans handle. You have to press and HOLD the red button. If you release it, it stops. Its a lesson I'll never forget

Should always fill to 80% and no more, l have a 2000lt tank at home, when its filled up to the brim, that's always around 1600lts, you cook and heat on the vapor. Used to have refillable on my old van but did not bother on this one, Its getting harder in the UK to get LPG, much more common when abroad. Plus at the mo, l get 13kg bottles for 20.00 so not worth the investment.

Thanks gpat. Very pleased with t339 nothing I would change though one set of graphics were not in great shape so just got all of them replaced recently to the 2021 colour version of gloss black and matt grey. Just pondering on solar panels and double battery investment ahead of first trip abroad, hopefully next spring. Not fussed on idea of changing leisure battery by taking seat off so likely change it anyway when 5 years old next year.

I too have pressed the wrong button, in Bordeaux, at a very busy and large fuel station. ALL the pumps switched off a siren rang out and for some reason everyone seemed to know it was me what done it. After what seemed like an age, a man in overalls slowly walked towards me and stopped the siren.
