Just back from 3 nights at Pencelli Castle site.
What a lovely little site.
Probably the nicest facilities we've seen.
Friendly owners.
Canal 100 yards from site so nice level walks along the canal tow path.
Pub 150 yards from site, with lovely food and friendly landlord and landlady.
Highly recommended, we will go again.
We went on hook up for the first time in 12 months, just to check that everything still works on mains, which it did.

Have cycled down and walked down the canal from Brynach to the pub ( Royal Oak) on a few occasions.
Pleasant area and was decent lunch in the beer garden.

No dogs and no children sounds better sounds like a nice site

We couldn’t get in there so stayed at the club site, until we found somewhere more sensibly priced; Talybont Farm. We did also see the little CL on the canal which looked nice.
Nice part of the world!

Overnight (6pm to 8am) for free in Powys County Council carparks, including in Brecon. No facilities though.

We're regular users. In fact we overnighted in the Brecon Promenade carpark right against the River Usk about 10 days ago along with 8 or 9 other motorhomes / campervans.

The night before we overnighted in the Crickhowell council carpark.

Gets pricey to park there in the day though.

We're there right now. Bit miffed to discover not all pitches in the orchard are fully serviced like the website suggests, but hopefully everything else will make up for it.

Ask to move or are they full 🤔

I'm going to try, but it looks like they might be full
