When you buy the French clean air sticker which costs about £5 does that cover you for all French cities / zones? And for the life of your vehicle?

The scheme only applies to certain cities/zones as and only some when they decide to declare a bad air warning. The certificate comes with your license number printed on it and has no expiry date that I can discern.
