Do we need reflective stickers on our helmets in France, just saw this on amazon.

Unless it's changed, if you ride anything bigger than 125cc you're supposed to have them on your helmet.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Sorry,, it just made me laugh,,, thinking about it !!! lol

I stuck some on mine when I went through France, and removed them when I got home.

Rode from Calais to the Algarve and never really saw any policemen..

Les who posted above you had one on all the way thru France! They could see him coming a mile away!! Lolololololololololol.
No.. I had TWO... same colour as my crash helmet, so un-noticeable in daylight..

At the time there were tales of British motorcyclists being stopped by enthusiastic French plod and getting nicked.. for the sake of two quid it wasn't worth taking any risk..

I think it all started when a number of motorcyclists were run over in the dark after coming off , dark clothing and lid etc. I notice a lot of Matt black or grey helmets lately in the UK.

Oh Les ... your innocence is appealing. Xxx:LOL::LOL:

Personally,, I can't see the benefit of riding through France,,, trouserless with stickers on your helmet!!! Too bloody cold!! Lolololol.

You should try it, I did 1200 miles to Portugal without touching a motorway or dual carriageway except when bypassing towns etc.

@Les from Suffolk ... please tell me you realise that Ian is being a naughty rude boy????

I ride with a lot of motorcyclists, taking the P is part of the fun...

Bring it on..

You can get them that glow in the dark

How about Poly helmets? you were never meant to stick a none specified sticker on them? I apologize for being serious, just off to check me elmet ;):D

I'm wary of taking this at face value - i.e. this being legally enforced...

Thanks all for the replies.
I will be getting stickers for my helmet:D:D:D ( I bet there is a web site for this:LOL::LOL:)
