We are doing this Meet again in 2019 :Grin:dates are arriving Thursday 11 July 1pm onwards (normal arrivals are 3pm) leaving Monday 15 July by 11am. This is this years thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...nds-end-park-bridport-12-16-july-2018.169467/ & although not the biggest gathering of Funsters it was our best location yet on a campsite with full facilities, fantastic views, two beaches, loads to see & do & great company :hi5:

Prices for 4 nights including EHU are £88.80 on grass pitch or £114 on gravel pitch. Site map here https://highlandsendholidaypark.co.uk/files/2019/02/2019-Highlands-Map-website.pdf . This includes 2 adults, motorhome, awning or Quest mesh screen house (gazebos not allowed) and car. Booking these 4 nights includes 10% off their per night prices. As they are guaranteed to be fully booked at that time of year there was no room for negotiation on the pitch prices but they have agreed to one dog to be free per booking (maximum of two dogs allowed) for Funsters for this Meet - this year that saved £3 per night & the one dog free offer also applies for the duration of your stay if you extend your Meet booking to more nights (y)
There is a one person discount - £12 off for the 4 nights and will automatically apply to the booking online or on the phone.

**************** UPDATE 4th June 2019 *************

Just had an email from Highlands End confirming that there are now no more pitches suitable for motorhomes for the whole duration of the Meet as fully booked for Friday & Saturday night but some availability for Thursday night & Sunday night. The campsite may get some cancellations but if anyone wants to do the Festival https://www.jurassicfields.com/ then it looks like their basic camping is still available to book in the tickets section - don't forget to add a live-in vehicle pass for motorhomes. John @scottie is booked into Festival camping so you wouldn't be the only Funsters & if you let us know we can add you to a PM group for this Meet (as well as us posting on the forum thread) so we can all meet up & you will be welcome to join in with anything that is organised. We don't know exactly where the Festival camping is but it's near the Festival field so probably a good walk from Highlands End or a short taxi hop (from £5 -£7.50 each way) so still possible to join us for the Thursday & Sunday nights in Martin's Bar & sure we will all keep bumping into each other in the Festival field, at the beaches & in Bridport :hi5:

Festival tickets here https://www.tickettailor.com/events...iSYKTLGHeZ28pSRbW4dkWz31e_w8itb2ye2DxReGYNV-E - book early for the best price as these will increase nearer to the Festival date. Earlybird prices were from £17.50 - £30 per person but now £22.50-£35 & still great value.

You would be very welcome - those coming so far are a friendly lot :)

Yes please. We would be up for this again. (y)

Just trying to get packed :whew: for Lymington Rally & dealing with last minute queries but will post booking details for Highlands End if all info. available before we go.
Jurassic Fields Festival was fab this year, well run with some excellent acts & dates for 2019 are 12 &13 July to coincide with this Meet but awaiting confirmation from the organisers that it's definitely going ahead. The dates are on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/jurassicfields/ . We will be going to Bridport regardless as still a lot to see & do but for anyone that is going just for this Festival maybe wait for confirmation before booking the campsite.

We could be interested in this meet please.

Only this time you are prohibited from the traditional Cornish pastime of lighting beacons on the cliff top to lure ships in to be wrecked..........

We would be interested, if you could add us to the list please? :)

Edited to say - us = Lisa and Terry ;)

Will do - see website https://highlandsendholidaypark.co.uk/ (y) Has on lead dog walk area & off lead fenced area & right on coast path for walks - they do normally charge for dogs & maximum of two allowed but first dog should be free for Funsters booking. Dogs are allowed on nearby Eype pebble beach all year round & locals often take their dogs swimming there.
