If one types an @ followed by the members username, as I did above, they'll get an alert to state that they've been mentioned in a post & will see the post if they choose to read it.

If you click on your username in the top menu bar then select Privacy you will find in there options for who can look at your profile.

Yes but when you click on theirs it just says ''This member limits who see their profile page''

Presumably they have set some restrictions, such as selecting "only people you follow" or un-checking the box so no one can see their profile.
