Yes, we have done it again. Pissed off the residents by parking on the sea front where it is not allowed.

There are plenty of other places where you can equally safely, but legally park and sleep in your motorhome i and around javea.

Yet, we ignore the rules and the council have to take measures. Javea/Xàbia council have already provided a large, easily accessible service area for fresh and waste water. Grey and black.

But the motorhome community continued to park on the sea front. With reports of dumping waste and rubbish.

Well done !

I walked along the coast one evening last week. from the port to the Arenal. We counted 32 motorhomes parked up.

I'm not sanctioning what the Mhers are doing but Javea would benefit from some nicer camping options.

I Could not agree more, having used both in the past. It doesn't have particularly great campsites.

That being the case, if it doesn't suit. Motorhomes should not feel they have a god given right to park wherever they like. In this case, the sea front where it is strictly prohibited.

As I said, there are plenty of other places where motorhomes are permitted to park and sleep.

If that does not suit, simply move on !.

As Gaston aires stated, spoils it.

From your stroll, could you approximate the national make up of the offenders?
Mike.

Hardly surprising these measures are taking place, as mentioned the few spoil it for the rest, by this I mean The Long Overstayers that feel they can stay on the same spot for months on end, especially in large motor homes with toads trailers.
I naively hoped that in areas where vans were parked up in all areas, that the waste issues would have been self policed by the majority that are using these areas, but it seems thats not the case.

I think the picture is of this:

Every year the same..... inconsiderate motorhome owners who believe they have every right and comply with all the rules...which we all know is total b*****cks...
We are currently parked just for tonight on a scrap of land...doing no harm and breaking no rules....we want to be here to be able to participate in two days if sporting activities...we speak with the locals....leave no rubbish or other motorhome waste ....
The sea isn't near here..so the attraction isn't that great...we like it that way....if there was a prohibition notice...we would just ignore.....no we wouldn't...rules are rules..
Excuse me Mr Man from Northern Europe...can we come to your country and disregard your rules....your laws....just like you ignore the rule of Spain....what did you reply?
No we cannot...well F**k off from Spain...we have rules too....

On my travels there are so many Germans this year, and I’ve never seen so many Morelo’s before…🤔
For a moment I thought a Morelo was a nationality.....🤔😀😀😀😀😀👍🥳

I thought that the police had outed Motorhomes from wild camping in Javea. Obviously started again. It's a shame because you won't even be able to park for the day.

As far as I know, the authorities will allow you at least 24 hours in certain areas. Like the car parks and back streets .

There are a few residents who park permanently.

But it’s the main sea front position where people set up camp rather than for the night that is.

100 euros FP ticket for offenders then they may understand the value in camp sites.

Are they really selfish? It's winter who else is on the beach at this time of the year? How many tourists are about.
They have to buy food somewhere so the traders will welcome them I would think.

I suppose it depends if you are happy to dodge all the turds left on the paths/woods when you go for a walk!!

Even most dog owners have the decency to bag their waste seems not these animals!!

Never been there so I don't know if they leave turds all about.
No excuse for doing that if they do.

It is a very busy all year around resort.

The locals and Authorities could probably accept a couple of motorhomes for a few nights. They have even opened up a new FREE Facility to dump grey/black waste and fill up with water.

But too many are making it their home. Setting up solar panels arrays, dumping waste and taking liberties.

If I had a home on the sea front, I would not appreciate a traveller site setting up.

That is part of the problem

Last trip We stopped off twice at a nice free spot South of France, nice view overlooking the port, close enough to walk to numerous restaurants and an OK beach. both times several of the same vehicles were there obviously not moved in the 4 weeks we had been away. One of the occasions a French guy had his 3 axle Rapido with trailer still attached parked sideways across the bit with the best view.

We see so much of this, OK its a bit harder to slip into a corner somewhere with a larger MH but why rub it in peoples faces? Such a short sighted and selfish attitude.
