Jackery 1000 V2

Hi, I've been given a new Jackery 1000V2 power unit Think it will be handy to run microwave & small kettle when we aren't on hook up. However, on our AS Broadway the microwave is hard wired in so I guess I'd need tochange it to a plug in cable (not impossible). However I wondered if I could simply plug the m/h hook up cable to the jackery? Or would that cause problems??? Thanks.

I don't do so often however I have plugged a three pin hookup lead into the Bluetti.
Keep in mind the maximum output of the inverter of your Jackery.
E.g. If the microwave needs 1000w and your Jackery produces max 1500w the Jackery will trip if you plug in a kettle as well.

You will need to investigate to see what you can switch off when you plug in. Normally, when you connect to EHU, it will expect to charge your leisure battery, possibly power your fridge, maybe even heat the water. You don't want any of that to happen when you connect the Jackery. All you want powered are the microwave & the 240V sockets.

If you can switch everything else off, then it's feasible. Have a look at the consumer unit (240V distribution board) to see how the circuits are organised.

Yes I think that's the potential downside! I'm going to convert the microwave to plug in & then I can simply use any other appliances direct. Thanks.

We have an ecoflo wired into the ehu socket but we have a consumer unit that the van charger is on a different breaker.
Been like that for over a year now no problem, so in working all the plugs work off the ecoflo when off grid when we are on hook up all the plugs work off the ehu then we reverse the plugs on the ecoflo and plug that in to charge although it will work off the solar if it's a good day.
Maybe a bit of a rambling post but the top and bottom of it, is yes it works fine.
