Complete Adblue novice here!

We’ve rented a motorhome that’s on an Iveco Daily 50-180 Hi-Matic base. It has Adblue and there are no instructions. At the moment the Adblue is saying 95%.

1. At when percentage do I need to top it up?
2. Do I need to reset a counter or anything to let the vehicle know I’ve topped it up?
3. When I top it up, do I have to top it up so it’s full?
4. Anything else I should be aware of please?

I’m sure these are very basic questions to anyone who’s ever had an Adblue vehicle.

Thank you!

You probably won't need to top it.
You will get a warning at 30% and then at 10%, if it gets lower than 10% put some in.

If it's anything like ours it will be a 18 litre tank so when it get's to 25% I top up and it takes 10 litres which is good for a few thousand miles if I remember correctly, should be nothing to reset as it knows straight away that it has been refilled just as the diesel tank does.

Thank you funflair. I assume the vehicle will know I’ve put some in and I won’t have to reset a counter or anything?

There is a sensor in tbe abdlu tank that measures what's in it just a normal fuel gauge so nothing to reset and if your not sure where to fill it there is a small blue cap next to the fuel filler cap it goes in there
