Checked the water and pump was functioning, filled our refillable gas โ‚ฌ0.53 a litre, changed our 11kg Propano โ‚ฌ14, then it was should we wait until the Easter rush. ๐Ÿ™„

Anyone that's been in Spain will know, the Spanish love it normally the first outing for many, not something you forget if your on a campsite, the phones with music playing in the shower, the smoke from the bbq's the children running wild until the early hours. ๐Ÿ˜‚
The thing to do is wait until 2200 - 2230hrs because they have started then, the noise the smoke and the music although you can't really hear that because everyone talks at the same time, ๐Ÿ˜ so a good time to go and have your shower, and it has been known for Janie telling them how good it smells and came back with a big plate full, a great atmosphere once you get used to it, and of course you don't need to sleep. ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway as we haven't been anywhere and hearing all this about having to use proper official places, we decided to book 4 nights 73km away a bit like a small cl site on a small holding โ‚ฌ8 a night with electric water and dump, near a cycle route on the old railway track and mountains to walk, then Friday see how things are, speak to the local motorhomers and see what they think about parking in remote areas in the mountains, if not come home again until after Easter. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ Bob.

Hi Bob, careful please, some could have escaped from Madrid and had the same plan as you, hope not, if we keep within the law, we can get out too...but remain as we do in the confines of our Region....one day we can cross over, as we did last year, the government gave a greenlight for residents to travel.....until then, do what we can without causing any problems for others.....enjoy, stay safe and enjoy your break...

We already have one family from Madrid in the other block, we should be OK where we are going it only holds 6 motorhomes, ๐Ÿ˜‰ 5 Madrilรฑos and us. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Bob.

Arrived yesterday afternoon passing beerdrinker1 Ken toledo Dave and Polly on the way, its perfect in these troubled times, no traffic noise only 3 of us on site at the moment another coming today, the price is โ‚ฌ10 ๐Ÿ˜ฏ the โ‚ฌ8 was the Opening offer in March, but Yes electric and water on each pitch, a shower and toilet is included if you so wish also a washing machine available not asked about the charge. ๐Ÿ˜
The chickens run wild so a bit rustic the sell eggs and honey and so on, lovely couple he is from Croatia and his wife is French, the site backs onto the old railway line that's a cycle route, and plenty of walking so that's us sorted for the next week, today we start investigating. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ Bob.

Good to hear your enjoying yourselves in what sounds like an idyllic part of Spain,

I'm back home in Scotland after a great ferry crossing, than relatively quiet roads home, from leaving Portsmouth I only passed one other motorhome and that was a panel van so that could have been being used as normal transport,

I half expected to be pulled over by the police at some stage, enquiring what I was doing out and about in a Motorhome, but again from leaving Portsmouth I never saw one police car on the whole journey !!!, pity too as they could/should have pulled all the middle and outside lane huggers in and charged them, there's nothing worse than being in the nearside lane waiting to pull out and overtake a slow moving lorry, then sitting there and watching the door mirror waiting for the car in the middle lane to pass, in order to pull out, just to find that they have only one intention and that is to sit there in a dream world, no intention of overtaking, its supposed to be an offence now, but never heard of anyone being prosecuted for it!!!, has anyone else ?,

Rant over !!!,

Just discovered that i have no mobile nor landline connection at all, supposed to be registering my 10 day self isolation and details of my ultra expensive day 2 and 8 Covid 19 test kit, Thanks EE,

I won't start another rant !!!,

have a good day everyone,

Ken :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

Thanks Ken, and I hope that you and the lovely Lynda are both keeping well ( aches and pains not withstanding ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ ) and boredom hasn't turned you to drink :wine: :wine: :cheers::cheers: :wine::wine:,

Hopefully see you soon,

Ken :drink::drink::drink::drink:

Glad you got back OK Ken, Yes good move coming here only 5 motorhomes, done lots of cycling and some walking but it's too hot and the mountain walks we want to do are about 14km before you start, so next time we will bring our car it's only 1 hour up the autoroute and we leave that anywhere, rather than using the motorhome. ๐Ÿ˜
Apparently its heaving at home in Javea, so we will give it a couple more days before returning. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž Bob.

Ha ha ha that's brilliant Bob . . . . " its too hot !!! ", its perishing here on Loch Lomond, last two mornings since I got here, thick frost on the cars and everywhere, Ah well at least its not snowing or pouring down, quite a nice sunny day, but cold and wrap up well weather and after five months of tee shirt and shorts you know what I mean, had the heating on full since I got home,

Carry on with your extended break and start planning your mountain walks for the next excursion Bob and Jane, I'm not envious in the least . . . . i'm also a lying swine !!!!!,

All the best,

(y):cool::cool:(y)

We've had a few trips away. A few nights at a time. Exploring our local region. It's amazing what you can find when you look close to home.

Water (unusual here), caves, churches and walks/bike rides.

Love little sites like this...๐Ÿ‘

Been there, Bob and Janie, we were on the same pitch and the only ones there. Great place apart from the very narrow access. Chickens were very entertaining(y):giggle:

We are on the lookout for another parasol but they seem to big the ones we have seen, you certainly need one here, Izzy loves it out and about unless it gets cold ๐Ÿ˜‰ then it's a jumper or coat we think she has been observing the Spanish dogs. ๐Ÿ˜
๐Ÿ˜‰ I wouldn't say relaxed Sonja, active spings to mind. ๐Ÿ˜

Looking forward to catching up with you Kev and the gang, and relaxing with a few beers. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ Bob.

Just read all the way through again. Brilliant, thanks. We're hoping to do a few good bike rides ourselves now.
