Itineo
Hi all, my first time posting here.

We recently replaced our MH with a more child friendly Itineo. Or so we thought. So far, so good with the van - a couple of things we plan to do, but our biggest issue thus far is fitting our child car seats to the rear seat belts. Whether due to the soft and slippery cushions or the seat belts and despite being a van aimed at those with young families (bunk beds etc) we can't find a good (and I would say, particularly safe) way to install fixed child or even, booster seats. Our kids are aged 3 and 5, and despite the rear seats in our previous Autotrail not being great for child car seats, they were much better/ safer.

We plan to visit a specialist shop for advice, but I wondered if anyone had experience of this (we have an SC 700 model) and/ or a good solution or advice on what seats we can instead fit?

Many thanks in advance.

No advise on that model but as a past Autotrail 700 owner and having 2 grandkids that started about same age as yours.
I always prefered to have 1 child in the front passenger seat where the 3 point belt and seat base were a more secure fitting.
The other was always in the dinette agains the side wall, so nanny was siting on the outside edge. The cushions as you say can keep slipping and moving, i used to put some antislip matting under the dinette seat to help stop it moving. Not perfect but we did thousands of miles in UK and Europe like that... Having a child up front might alarm some but in my view it was far better than leaving two small kids in the rear of a motorhome where neither seat fixing was perfect.

If you thinking of isofix like in a car, i have never seen or heard of anything for a motorhome.
