We are hoping to travel the length of Italy this autumn. Have you any recommendations where I can view photo, Nature, landscape and geography. Or social geography ?
Probably not going to the mountains in the north.

Parrot Face

Done Italy several times. The best places we found were the Northern Lakes {Iseo our favourite}, Lucca, Rome, Sienna. Portofino. and the Cinque Terra. We were a little disappointed with Florence but that might be because we had our dog with us and couldn't visit the garlleries etc. Last year we went to Italy and decided to go further south. We got as far as the 'heel' and the 'toe' and found it fabulous. The south is a little poorer but well worth a visit. The links below cover the southern trip in detail but also the lakes. I believe it will be helpful to you if you read it right through. The last link covers a previous trip covering the places mentioned above. In the south we loved Peschici, Matera, Lecce and Otranto. We like nice beach resorts and one of the best we came across was over on the west coast , a place called Tropea. Of course there are a lot of miles involved but we really enjoyed this trip and hope to repeat it next year.

Thanks. Will look out, my Italian is nil. Other 1/2 talks to most people, even undesirables on occasion. Not saying you are an undesirable lol. We have no distinguishing marks on the out side, as for the inside that's another matter.

Paestum was in of our favourite finds in southern Italy - intact Greek temples. You can drive or get there by train from Naples.
