I found these brackets just in front (behind) the drop down bed…

IMG_4455.jpeg

There are three of them, one in the middle and two, (one at at each end) about 200mm in from the side.

The only thing I can think of is that they are for hanging curtains but I can’t see anything on the side to anchor a curtain wire too. If they are for curtains they would be useful as I am going away soon with my son and his wife so a bit of privacy wouldn’t go amiss.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or are they for something else and not curtains?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Possibly for a curtain on a pole?

Oh of course d’oh, it is the safety netting…now I need to figure out how to fit curtains!!
When travelling down to Spain/Portugal for winter, we often wild camp or use village/town Aires.
Rather than draw all the cab blinds, we leave them open, and the seats in the travelling position should a swift departure be required. ;)
We then draw a set of curtains across behind the cab area, held in place by an adjustable spring tensioned curtain rail, which fits in nicely between the interior side walls of the MH. The rail is supported from above, but in the middle, due to the weight of the curtains when closed.

HTH,

Jock. :)

That’s interesting, I hadn’t thought of that.

Measure the distance between the interior walls, then find a tensioned rod longer than that distance, which you then adjust manually. (y)

Duhelm or John Lewis, etc, sell them.

Edited...........I also use smaller versions of the rods, to deter miscreants from trying to slide the A Class cab windows open. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)
