It’s a tad windy STILL ☹️

When we were at highlands end earlier this year the wind was like a hurricane, we live just north of the Thames, by the Dartford bridge/tunnel, the wind has not stopped since leaving H/E, what’s it like where you are ?

Pretty windy in Cornwall, just been up the garden to check our 30+foot fir tree to see if the ground is heaving, our tree surgeon told it is in bad condition and to keep an eye on it. Can't feel any ground movement so I guess it will be OK for now.

Very disconcerting standing next to a tree in a gail and feeling the ground moving
We had one in our garden that used to do that. We eventually had it taken down. Seeing the condition of the stump it was a good decision.

Supposedly still gusting to 43mph with us but it has settled down a lot this afternoon. Thatcould be down to the direction though some times we are ver exposed but if it veers a bit to the north things get more sheltered.
