I need to isolate one of three LPG tanks.
I can easily disconnect the solenoid to stop gas being used from the tank but IF I disconnect the feed pipe to the tank do they usually shut by default when disconnected?- I mean the pipe not the tank?

Anyone know?

No the filler hose would need removing / capping
Only the tank has a NRV , but as with anything mechanical it shouldn’t be taken for granted that it is working, always remove the filler hose carefully and release any gas / liquid by cracking the nut open a bit , once sure it’s working then remove the hose and ideally cap off the tank .
