Sadly, we've got to go to the isle of wight at the end of February for a funeral.

Got the ferry sorted with a bit of discount , but, has anyone got recommendations for a site? Preferably hardstanding with hook up that will be open on the 29th Feb for the weekend?

Thanks!!

Shame you’ve booked as the site at East Cowes does a package including ferry.
However The site ,Waverley Park is open all year. Good views across the Solent from the pitches.
Just taken a look and their max size for motorhomes is 6m, ours is 7.5m

I am surprised as I’ve been there with my 7 m van.
Just been to their 2024 pricing and they quote pitches as suitable for motorhomes.
Couldn’t see a size limit.

I found I got a bigger ferry discount of 50% using the C&MC than I would have got with the site discount.

Do you need to be east or west?
I used Whitefields on Brading Rd in the East Side which was very nice.

We live 'round the corner' from Waverley - they have had American RVs - suggest you ring them (feel free to PM me if no joy).

I note the C&CC have closed their Adgestone site on the IOW as it needed too costly a refurbishment.

They offer £4.00 per night worth of electricity in the price and we are set up for off grid so it shouldn't be an issue (Diesel heating and big lithium battery bank)
