I got to 03:39 and had to give in.
The Chips and Science act was a $280Bn fund to bring fabrication of chips back to the US.
This was starting to happen already after the supply chain issues of Covid and the threats from China to Taiwan (where TSMC are located)

So far. I have only seen 3 projects that have broken ground due to this funding. Those rich HIGHLY profitable companies have received around $6Bn each out of the fund to start building.

Trump put tariffs up and banned certain exports, which then combined with covid caused Intel to build 4 fabs during or shortly after Trumps 1st term.

TSMC had already started construction on their new highly advanced fab well before this was announced and it is due to come into operation early next year. This was due to Trump and didn't require any public funding. TSMC put the entire $12Bn up itself.

I was starting to feel this was a Trump bashing video and a Biden boosting video so stopped watching. If there is anything you want me to watch specifically I am happy to do so if you give me the timestamp
