In Rothemburg at present and there are about 6 artic units with trailers parked in the motorhome part and the car park, 1 lorry is parked along 7 bays.
None of them have tickets or clamped
Also a car and caravan parked in the motorhome parking without a ticket.
They don’t seem to worry over hers just in the UK.

Heres a link to the car park t and c,s. Your only allowed to park overnight in the designated bays so in effect they are pitches! At least by the sounds of it you didn't say anything to those who "stole" your space!

Two tickets 2 bays?
You're going round in circles here.
We've already established that if there are other smaller spaces (where overnighting is allowed) then it would be the sensible thing to use them if you fit, leaving the larger spaces for larger MHs

But in your original car park at ingleton its not allowed therefore nothing wrong with what the camper did.

I think youre just annoyed someone got there first

Thats the point other smaller spaces were empty
But according to the council tro you cannot overnight in them?
Two tickets 2 bays?
Only if the council allow it, many don't as I pointed out.

Seen them twice already - :giggle: 4spaces for overnighting & specifically excudes using other spaces.

Might be handy to read the regs applicable to the car parks. Explains what the vehicle requirements are.

Were the other smaller spaces allocated for motorhomes or cars?

Hmm, there's the rub, the link from Stoosal provides some detail (was already looking at it when posted) and page 28 of the pdf which refers to the car park in question doesn't even mention motorhomes at all

I think that was original question . Is it expectable to park “ smaller “ campers in the motorhome bays when other “ van size “ spaces were available. It turns out that parking in these other spaces would have attracted a fine for the VW driver so he was absolutely in the correct spot .
