Hello,

We are in the process of stripping out a few parts from our pvc.
The chap we bought it from had only used the van a few times and there is a lot of kit we don't need as it relies on hook up.

Not sure what the market is for selling second hand items?
When ever we have had professional converters do work they generally will only fit brand new items such as cooker, not second hand.

When self building do you buy second hand or only new?
specifically the bigger items are an oven with 3 hobs. Thetford electric toilet, sureflow water pump and an electric propex water heater.

All the items are barely used and looking at prices on line very expensive new, but not finding any second hand prices to compare.

Any advice appreciated.

thank you

Lin:)

Yes self builders will buy them not every shelf builder has loods of dosh don't get to greedy remember they are second hand items at the end of the day
50 to 65% percent of sum-thing new you have to look at it frome say my point of view they might have not Ben used much but they may have Ben used a lot but carefully or cleaned up very well how old are thay can i still get bits for them theas are just a few of the things i would take in to consideration before buying second hand kit

Thanks Bill,

Good to know.
We have no idea of value or even market, just didn't want to end up giving stuff away or taking to tip if it has a value we could be used to offset cost of things we are buying.

We would certainly use second hand ourselves, so good to know other would.
