enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
i am about to convert my 'spare' gen 2 starlink to 12v, single cable feed, integrated router, with slim case, no stand/motor etc. This is the Gen 2 version, so not limited to 100mbs speeds,

plenty of info on how i did it and photos etc on it in the main starlink thread - but its got me thinking is there a 'market' on MHF ONLY, for hiring out one of them? of course the price would have to include the rental fee, so in the long run it would be much cheaper to actually buy your own, but if anyone was thinking of trying starlink before buying one then hiring one might be an option? i could also include a rechargeable 20Ah lithum battery (lightweight) to power it, though of course the battery would need to be charged from time to time?

Good idea! 👍🏻

The one issue I foresee is how will you handle roaming in the new Starlink world we live in?

I would imagine the interest would mainly come from those travelling to Europe for a few months. Two months in and it ‘may’ no longer work!

No idea!! good point, well made sir !

i suppose we all have to wait and see and follow your posts with a keen interest LOL
