We currently have a 7 berth Burstner A645 which has loads of space for the 5 of us (kids are 5,6 and 8). It also has 6x three point seatbelts.
I quite fancy an A-Class for our next moho but haven't found one with the sleeping spaces and seatbelts.
Are there any older vans 2005-2010 we could be considering?

Click on the link above.

What you are looking for is fairly rare, but they do exist.
This one is 7 berth, 5 seats and only 7.5m long.
It is also only 4 tonnes (so needs a C1 licence) so you will have to be very careful with the payload, probably best to fit a towbar and get a trailer

I can only drive up to 3.5T on my current licence but haven't ruled out going for the next class up.

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Our Adria 670slt has 5 seats and seatbelts but isn't A class, however the layout as a 5 berth might be available on much earlier models ?

Have you been on a weighbridge with your current set up?
I'd be astounded if a 7 berth/5 seat motorhome, registered at 3,500kg fully loaded, was actually under that weight in reality.

Which means its illegal on the road on three counts,
Over the plated weight limit.
The driver does not have a C1 licence.
Therefore the Insurance would be invalid (as would the vehicle tax and MoT)

Ours is 2 berth/4 seats and only 6.7m long and we struggle to keep it under the plated 3,880 kg limit.
(And yes, I have a C1 licence)

I really think you need to get a C1 (and D1E so you can tow)

There are way of doing it for free if you are prepared to drive a minibus in exchange for schools and charities.
(Our local Scouts paid for 2 drivers to upgrade and in exchange they drive the minibus to camp and outings, which is actually a fun 'job')
