Is there a PDF editor that allows extraction and adding of pages, Free? (1 Viewer)

I have a windows 10 PC it's old and I need to replace it, I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 6 which does run on this PC but may not on a windows 11 PC. I don't want to pay to upgrade, does anyone know of any app that has page addition / extraction function that's free?

Can't help with your pdf problem, just something to be aware of when upgrading to a Windows 11 pc.
The good ladies laptop was upgraded from w10 to w11 without any problems until yesterday when she tried to print to our printer. Message came up "print drivers not available for this printer" which means go out and buy a new printer. Luckily printing works from our android devices so drop document to Google drive and print from android problem solved.

I believe it is still possible to download Adobe Acrobat Pro XI as an ISO file and it no longer needs registering with Adobe so can be used as a stand alone without subscription. Various third party software distributors offer it.

Thanks Acrobat 6 is still working in Windows 10 and I have worked out a work around if needed, I don't have much use for it now I'm retired, however I do use it to keep documents combined.

I use the Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on both Win 10 and Win 11 machines without a problem. I can send you a copy on a disc if it helps.

I believe you can do this in Libre Office. Never tried anything more than fixing spelling mistakes myself though. But should be able to handle it I think.

I have libre office, it will scan and create a pdf but I can't get it to insert new pages.

just stumbled upon this thread and maybe it is no longer relevant but anyway I'd like to share this free PDF editor that is a good alternative to Adobe
