Is my reasoning unreasonable? (consideration of others)

I never close the blinds on my motorhome. To me the whole point of being in one is being able to be close to nature, seeing the sun go down and come up again.

Im on a really busy site (been here over a month, no worries in terms of security, site is well lit, security barriers and all the wardens apparently live on site). But a couple of days ago a couple arrived and seem to like having their hab door light on for no apparent (to me) reason?
Ive never seen one so bright, and its on from around midday right through to the following morning (never with any sign of them being outside to use it).

Its so bright in my bedroom its like sleeping under stadium flood lights.
Yes, i could close the windscreen blinds and re-open them every morning, but why would you put the light on if youre not using it (going outside)?
When i let my dogs out at night, I switch mine on, and turn it off once theyre done, ITS BRIGHT! (I assume) No one else wants to see that.

Im guessing they are here for New Year.
Do I:
A. Introduce myself, have a friendly chat and casually mention how god damn bright their light is at night.
B. Start closing myself in at night by shutting all blinds.
C. Harry Black over their light when they are asleep and claim to know nothing! :D

I am posting in jest, Im sure they are lovely, but if its on for security reasons, god help them if they ever try to go off-grid.

Strange as it may seem, maybe they are unaware its on. I'm sure they don't realise it annoys you. Maybe a quick hello and mention it.

Maybe they are using the light as a security light.
it could be possible that makes them feel safer at night.

so far as the site goes I expect it makes no difference to them even if you say it’s a safe site.
put Yours on as well then.

Perhaps they have to take their dog out during the night and like to see where they are walking. If it really is annoying you is there another plot you could move to?

if he's stuck between the toilets and an annoying punter, perhaps the warden doesn't like him? :xrofl:

Seriously, option A, and then, let us know if further guidance you need.

Personally I love being in the van with the blinds all closed. I can imagine being anywhere plus I get a better sleep when its all dark but each to their own. Choice of two I see, talk to them or move. We all enjoy our camping experiences differently.

In consideration to others and your own modesty - close the blinds, pretty much like everyone else does?

perhaps a misunderstanding lol! I do close the blinds in the bedroom (and close the living room divider) when i get dressed of a morning! :D (pulling up 2 bedroom blinds is a lot easier than opening and closing the 5 full length cab blinds!)
I leave them open otherwise for the reasons stated, and my dogs like to come and go at night as they please when im sleeping (rather than shut them out when i go to bed).

So if you close the bedroom blinds and close the divider what is the problem? Sorry I'm not understanding.

when im naked in the morning getting dressed, not when im asleep lol!
Easy solution, get dressed behind the divider. In all honesty I know it's not always possible depending layout .

You’re voluntarily on a site as are your neighbours , it’s a place where we all must be flexible and accept reasonable behaviour from those around us , if you can’t then don't use sites.
Keeping an awning/entrance light on at night or not closing blinds at night are not unreasonable and either should be accepted .

but some can be very bright. I had a similar problem a few months ago, so I had a chat and the matter was resolved (a lot of people do not realise that some awning lights have high & low output levels)

Have you considered that they are being friendly and have left the light on at night to make it easier for people to pop by and say hello ?
