I've been wondering about getting a small moped to carry in the garage of my motorhome. I have a Burstner Ixeo 680. Does anyone with this model carry a moped and if so which make/model

Out of interest what height is the 310? we have a scoot but I’m think of getting a smaller bike then my Super 10 that we could use in the C Tourer, possibly KTM 390 or a Husky 401I went through this before I got my MH (Carthago). Will need to know the dimensions of your garage, then I may be able to help.
Also you'll probably need GVM of more than 3500kg. Mine is 4250kg.
I got a small BMW 310R bike, which is lower than alot of scooters, and I did find height was the main factor.
Hi, and welcome. Actual user reviews of products, good and bad is always appreciated.Hi All
I'm new around these parts.....joined today for my sins
I have a campervan conversion due to start at end Nov start of December.....Ducato XLWB
The van is due to have a full 4m tracking system for loading a motorcycle (not sure if I'm allowed to mention the product?)
If of interest willing to supply photos of the progress of the build as and when available?
Not sure if there are any other threads for garage systems on the forum....if there are please accept my apologies

If i'm staying at a site for longer then a couple of days I usually take the bike out as soon as I get there and put it back in the day before I leave, so I can go and explore whenever the urge takes me.I've heard that suggested before, but the problem with that is as long as the bike is in the garage, the forks will be compressed, and some people say this may be an issue for fork seals.
I ratchet strap my bike down in the garage compressing the forks for travel, but as soon as I get to site I remove the front straps and let the forks uncompress. I then leave the bike in the garage till I need it.
It won’t damage the seals at all. I have had my track bike loaded onto a stillage to go out to Spain and it’ll be strapped down the the forks compressed for a week on the way out and the same on the way back and they are absolutely fine. It’s no different to the forks being compressed when you are braking and hit a bump, the dynamic loading on the forks is much greater when you’re braking from 70mph than when it’s just strapped down in the van.I've heard that suggested before, but the problem with that is as long as the bike is in the garage, the forks will be compressed, and some people say this may be an issue for fork seals.

Hmmm, I’ve only got my scooter (honda SH350) in and other crap and I’m at 2800kg on the back axle (100kg over) but that is with 170ltrs of water on board. We have 2300kg capacity on the front so have put some stuff up front, so we shouldn’t be so much over nowWe have a C-Tourer 149 LE so twin beds at the back. Can confirm KTM 390 and 790 Duke fit in no problem with bar end mirrors on. Back axle weight was getting tight when fully loaded so upgraded to 4800kg max and 2700kg rear, we run just under 2500KG rear axle when fully loaded for a winter trip and full of water etc. Double bed bedroom reduces the height in the garage by a bit from memory. This pic shows the height and the crap we carry... including 2 x Bromptons.. chairs and ramp to go in on the right.
Good luck getting the weight forward, we couldn't manage to get enough forward. At least you know you can reduce the water to 70L and keep the essentials (beer) in the garage and still be legal ;-)Hmmm, I’ve only got my scooter (honda SH350) in and other crap and I’m at 2800kg on the back axle (100kg over) but that is with 170ltrs of water on board. we have Carthago chic c line i49 le and we are at 5 ton gross.
You have a washing machine in there that would be the first thing that I would get rid of and jen doesn't get a say what goes in MY garageHmmm, I’ve only got my scooter (honda SH350) in and other crap and I’m at 2800kg on the back axle (100kg over) but that is with 170ltrs of water on board. To be fair it was only in there for a test weigh, as well you know because I’m still contributing to everyone’s state pensions on here via paye, I can’t go away long enough to use itYou have a washing machine in there that would be the first thing that I would get rid of and jen doesn't get a say what goes in MY garage
