Is 14.6 too much for lead

I'm a lithium guy but im charging some old leads on a golf buggy and the on board charger seems to get them up to 14 6 , 14.7

Leads get a bit warm and the odd bubbling in the cells..have we got problems ?

Bubbling normal make sure theres good ventilation and 14.6 sounds right make sure you top the distilled water up and the cells are covered
