Is it just me or does anyone else find the Truma control panel knob extremely irritating in its inability to offer any tactile feedback when pushed? I'm starting to wonder if ours is faulty as we sometimes get no acknowledgement of a setting from the control panel symbols when pushed and because there is no reassuring 'click' like a 'proper' button We end up pushing it again but harder; not too dissimilar to talking slowly and loudly in English when abroad in the deluded belief that you will be understood! Starting to wonder if we should invest in the Truma iNet box just so we can set it via our mobile (which ironically does not have 'proper' buttons!)

We took our black cover button off for this reason
We Just push the spindle and turn it by hand, works fine now
But fully understand this as we couldn’t get ours to work properly with button on 🤷‍♀️

Ours is the same. Sometimes takes a few attempts to make a change to a setting.

Interesting update to my original post. I spoke to Truma customer service yesterday. Really impressed. The lady I spoke to (after just a few rings) suggested I remove the knob and loosen off the small fixing screw behind it. Apparently the fitters often overtighten the screw which can make the knob unresponsive. Tried it and now the button acts like a button, i.e. feedback when pushed. Works a dream now.

It's now iNetX

INetX control panel is a great upgrade for the CP Plus unit. Only issue is the location of the mounting screws doesn’t match and you’re left with two of the original holes visible at the bottom of the display.

A backward step. The iNet allowed remote control when away from the motor home as well as bluetooth when onboard. This seem to be missing from iNetX. Remote operation is really useful, check how warm it is, turn on the heating or hot water ready for when you get back. Not only less useful but more expensive, what muppet at Truma dreamed that up.
